Masakazu Hori will exhibit new products at SaloneSatellite2010 in Milan. His new proposals are stool, lamp, kitchen product etc. that were designed by an original viewpoint as only a designer with wide experience of pet goods design could.
Four collections which are "osanpo" "waiting" "colours" "happy tail" having characteristics of a cute pet will be exhibited. These will tickle your curiosity, you may feel a attachment to them and enjoy life together. Additionally, the main material is steel because he wanted to make use of his experience of designing bicycle and he is also from Sakai, Japan that is one of famous city of the steel industry.


Born in 1981 in Japan, and graduated from Bachelor of Industrial Design at Osaka University of Arts in 2004. After working for four years as an in-house designer for leading pet products company in Japan, he started working as a freelance designer. Since 2008 he has lived in Dublin, Ireland, and now works some projects with several clients. He has been active at the wide variety of works, product design, furniture design, graphic design, photograph, artwork and branding. Awards received several design competitions e.g. the 14th Sun-Star Stationaery Idea Competition First Prize in 2009.
